SoonSer Mars Pro 600

The SoonSer Mars Pro 600 is an SLA 3D printer from SoonSer with a 600 x 600 x 400 mm build volume.

Specifications

Laser and Optics: 355 nm UV laser with patented VarioSpot (VarioBeam) module: dynamic switching between fine contour beam and wide fill beam within a single layer pass; claims up to 3× throughput for large cross-sections versus fixed-spot competitors. All critical components (laser, galvanometers, electronics) sourced from internationally recognised manufacturers.

Scanner: Galvanometric scanning 6–15 m/s; accuracy ±0.1 mm (L ≤ 100 mm), ±0.1%×L for longer spans.

Platform: Grade-00 marble movement substrate (Grade-00 = precision metrology class) for vibration isolation and Z-axis repeatability; build volume 600×600×400 mm. Layer thickness 0.05–0.20 mm.

Calibration

VarioSpot Profile: Test artefact with thin walls + solid core; fine spot for contours only, wide spot for fill. Material-specific profile required.

Grade-00 Marble Platform: 9-point dial gauge check; planarity ≤0.02 mm.

Speed Verification (6–15 m/s): Test at 6, 10, and 15 m/s; cure depth must be consistent at each speed after power correction.

XY Accuracy: 100×100 mm grid, CMM measurement; ±0.1 mm.

Common defects

VarioSpot Spot-Switching Artefact: Visible boundary from miscalibrated profile → reduce power difference between modes.

Delamination at High Scan Speed: Cure depth drops above 12 m/s → increase power or reduce speed.

Warping on Flat Geometries: Support points + 0.05 mm layer + post-cure.

Rough Surface: Wide VarioSpot mode active on contours → check zone settings in build software.
