The Creasee CS50s Pro is a large-format desktop FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printer, providing a massive build volume of half a meter in all three dimensions. Designed to serve niche markets such as cosplay creators, movie prop makers, and industrial designers who need to print large, continuous structures in a single run, the CS50s Pro trades printing speed and plug-and-play simplicity for sheer build capacity. The printer utilizes a Cartesian "bed-slinger" mechanical configuration, which presents significant physical challenges due to the massive weight of the 500x500 mm heated build platform moving along the Y-axis.

Calibration

Operating a 500x500x600 mm bed-slinger requires precise calibration of its kinematics and thermal properties. Without careful setup, large prints are highly prone to warping or layer shifting.

• Thermal Stabilization and Bed Cleaning: Heat the bed to 60°C and wait at least 15 minutes before leveling. The large aluminum plate and glass sheet require time to distribute heat and expand uniformly. Clean the glass surface with a microfiber cloth saturated with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).

Common defects

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• Y-Axis Layer Shifts due to Driver Overheating: The heavy glass bed puts continuous load on the Y-axis stepper motor and its TMC2208 driver. Without adequate cooling, the driver will overheat and temporarily shut down.
• Symptom: The print shifts horizontally along the Y-axis, ruining the model.
