Maintaining and operating a machine weighing over 100 kg with a build volume of 170+ liters requires a strict calibration routine to guarantee dimensional accuracy.

• Dial Indicator Bed Tramming

Due to the large bed size (610x458 mm), standard paper leveling is insufficient. Mount a dial indicator on the print head. Move the carriage to the four corners and adjust the leveling knobs under the bed until the reading variance is under 0.05 mm across the entire plane.

• Glass Bed Thermal Cracking:
• Symptoms: A loud popping sound during heating or cooling, followed by a crack across the glass build plate.
• Cause: Thermal stress. If the heating element is not insulated evenly or a cool draft hits the hot glass surface, the glass warps and fractures.
• Solution: Allow the bed to heat slowly and cool down completely to room temperature before removing large prints.
