• High-Temperature Build Plate Preparation

Because the bed operates at high temperatures, the PEI surface must be clean. Wipe the PEI sheet with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) of at least 99% concentration while the bed is cool .

• Expected result: A clean, grease-free surface that ensures optimal part adhesion [11, 12].

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• Z-Endstop Button Binding: The Z-limit microswitch is located near the bed leveling screws. If a user applies excessive torque while manually adjusting the bed, the metal switch arm can become bent or compressed. On the Stream30Ultra, this can cause the Z-motors to drive the nozzle into the bed with high force, potentially bending the Z lead screws or linear shafts. Regularly inspect the switch arm to ensure it releases freely.
