Calibration

To calibrate the Volumic Stream30Pro MK2 for high-precision industrial printing, follow this 8-step guide:

• Tall Frame Thermal Equilibrium preheating

Close the printer doors, heat the bed to 85°C and the nozzle to 215°C. Let the system sit idle for 25-30 minutes to allow the copper bed and heavy aluminum frame to reach thermal equilibrium.

• Expected result: Complete thermal stabilization of the structural frame, preventing Z-offset drift during printing.

Common defects

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• Tall Z-Axis Frame Vibrations: When printing tall models near the 300 mm Z-height limit, vibrations from rapid X/Y print head movements can transfer to the part. This can cause surface finish defects (ringing/Z-wobble) near the top of tall prints.
• Extruder Heat Creep in Closed Chamber: In a closed chamber, the extruder stepper motor can get hot during long prints.
