Laser & Light Engine

The RSPro 600 uses a 355 nm Nd:YVO4 UV laser in standard single configuration, with an optional dual-laser upgrade for increased throughput. The dual-laser setup splits the build area into two overlapping zones requiring precise stitching calibration.

Optics & Scanner

Galvanometric scanning system with F-theta objective lens delivers uniform spot size across the full 600×600 mm aperture. The dual-laser stitching zone is a critical calibration point: inter-laser positional offset must be maintained below 0.05 mm.

Platform & Z-Axis

Precision Z-axis with 0.05–0.20 mm layer thickness capability.

Calibration

Calibration: RSPro 600

1. Dual Laser Power: Measure each laser independently; difference must be ≤3% to prevent stitching seam.

2. Dual-Laser Stitching: Print stitching test plate 600×600 mm; positional offset in overlap zone ≤0.05 mm. Monthly PM item.

3. XY Absolute Accuracy: CMM verification of coordinate matrix; tolerance ±0.1 mm absolute.

4. Jacobs Cure Parameters: Cure depth test per resin batch; update Dp and Ec in RPdata.

Common defects

Defects, RSPro 600

Stitching Seam (dual-laser offset), Visible line in overlap zone → stitching calibration + power equalization.

Undercure: Soft zones from degraded laser or contaminated optics → check power, update cure table.

Warping: Flat parts with large XY area → angled orientation, symmetrical supports.

Suction Cup: Detachment at solid horizontal sections → drain holes, reduced Z-lift speed.
