355 nm Nd:YVO4 DPSS laser, 800 mW. Third harmonic provides smaller beam waist and sharper cure edge definition versus 405 nm. The 450×450 mm build area requires longer scan paths: 12 m/s scan speed compensates.
Optics / Scanner
Dual-axis galvanometer scanner with a dedicated F-theta lens for a 450 mm field. Geometric correction via RPData Pro lookup table. Periodic 5×5-point scan field calibration is mandatory.
Build Platform
450×450 mm motorised Z-axis platform. Manual dial-indicator levelling; flatness <0.08 mm at 450 mm. Z travel: 400 mm.

Recoater Streaks
Cause: blade wear at 450 mm sweep; cold resin. Fix: blade replacement; heat resin.
Support Buckling at High Z
Cause: lateral recoat force on tall parts. Fix: larger-diameter supports; cross-bracing.
