The Tevo Tornado is an FDM 3D printer from Tevo with a 300 x 300 x 400 mm build volume.
Action: Assemble or inspect the Tornado’s aluminum extrusion frame so that the left and right uprights are vertical, the top crossmembers are level, and the Y-bed rails are parallel without twist. Tighten the gantry, base, and carriage fasteners evenly, then check that the X-axis gantry does not bind when moved to the left and right extremes by hand with power off.
1. Heavy moving bed can cause layer shifts at aggressive print speeds
Symptoms: Sudden horizontal offsets in the print, especially on tall objects or prints with rapid Y-direction changes; visible ringing; loss of corner sharpness; occasional skipped-step sounds.
Cause: The Tornado’s large heated bed contributes substantial moving mass, and high speeds or high accelerations can exceed the reliable dynamic range of the motion system.
