The Sri Vignan Technologies Kosher Duplication is a specialized dual-extruder version of the modular Kosher 3D printer platform, developed by Indian manufacturer Sri Vignan Technologies. This model is designed to introduce parallel manufacturing capabilities (duplication printing) to academic labs, engineering workshops, and small manufacturing businesses. By incorporating a dual-extrusion system, the printer enables the simultaneous printing of two identical parts, doubling production throughput with minimal additional hardware costs.

Calibration

Calibrating the Kosher Duplication for parallel printing requires precise mechanical and software alignment. Follow these 8 calibration steps:

• Glass Bed Cleaning and Preparation:

Any leveling discrepancy or debris will cause one of the two parallel prints to fail.

Procedure: Clean the borosilicate glass sheet with warm water and dish soap, then wipe it down with 99% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) using a lint-free cloth.

Common defects

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• X-Axis Ringing (Vibration Lines): Mounting two complete extruders, stepper motors, and hotends on a single carriage significantly increases the toolhead mass. This higher inertia leads to ringing artifacts on the print surface at speeds above 45 mm/s. Solution: Lower the outer perimeter print speed to 30–35 mm/s and cap X-axis acceleration to 600–800 mm/s² in the slicer.
