Light Engine
Galvanometer-based 405 nm laser, 250 mW, 140 µm spot size. Two galvo mirrors (X/Y) steer the beam across the build area: classic SLA architecture without a moving laser module.
Optics / Scanner
Mirrors factory-calibrated; significant geometric error (>0.3 mm) requires factory recalibration. Beam focuser maintains 140 µm spot across the full build area.
Build Platform
145×145 mm aluminium platform with manual levelling. Max Z travel: 175 mm.
Chamber / Heating
Form 2 includes a resin tank heater (35°C nominal). Heating improves resin rheology and repeatability in cold environments. Partially enclosed body (not a hermetic chamber).

Manual Levelling
Physical bolt-based levelling at installation or platform swap. Tolerance <0.1 mm across full surface.
PDMS Layer
Visual check: cloudiness or cratering = replace. Expected life ~2–5 L resin. Cost €60–100.
Tank Heater
Before print start: verify 33–37°C in PreForm status. Allow full warm-up in cold rooms before starting.
Wiper Mechanism
Clean blade with IPA if cured resin is visible or if streak artefacts appear on parts.

Cause: worn PDMS. Fix: new vat + drainage holes in flat geometries.
Wall Streaks (Wiper Artefacts)
Cause: cured resin on wiper blade. Fix: IPA cleaning; strain the resin.
Post-print Brittleness
Cause: incomplete post-cure. Fix: full Form Cure cycle per datasheet.
Base Warping
Cause: insufficient supports. Fix: Auto-Orient + larger support touch points.
