The Cubicon Single (technical model designation 3DP-110F) is a professional-grade desktop 3D printer featuring a fully enclosed chassis. Developed by the South Korean technology firm Hyvision System (later spun off as the dedicated Cubicon brand) and launched around 2014-2015, this model gained popularity due to its reliability, process automation, and "appliance-like" design, which set it apart from the DIY kit printers common at the time.

Calibration

Although the Cubicon Single is designed for plug-and-play operation, complete these 8 calibration steps to achieve optimal print quality:

• Pre-Leveling Nozzle Tip Cleaning

Because the Auto-Leveling Plus system relies on the physical contact of the nozzle tip against the build plate, any dried plastic on the nozzle will interfere with the height measurement. Heat the nozzle to 210 °C and clean it with a brass wire brush or brass wool.

• Modular Extruder Ribbon Cable Fatigue:

The modular extruder is controlled via a flat ribbon cable that flexes constantly during print movements. After several hundred hours of operation, the copper traces within the cable can develop micro-fractures. This results in intermittent connections, causing "Sensor Error" warnings, extruder motor stalling, or fan failures.
