The WEEFUN Tina2 is an ultra-compact FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printer designed with a clear focus on safety, portability, and maximum ease of initial setup ("plug-and-play"). While positioned as an educational tool for children and complete beginners, it possesses unique engineering characteristics and physical limitations that define its operational scope.

• Build Volume: Compact at 100 x 120 x 100 mm. Although this limits the size of printable parts, it significantly reduces the likelihood of thermal warping during long print jobs, which is crucial given the absence of a heated build plate.

Calibration

Although marketed as a ready-to-print machine out of the box, achieving high print quality and avoiding failures requires the following calibration steps:

• Cold Bed Preparation and Adhesive Application

Since the print bed is unheated, mechanical adhesion is the only force securing the print. Clean the magnetic sheet with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). Apply a thin, uniform layer of washable glue stick or blue painter's tape.

Common defects

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• Heat Creep Nozzle Clogging:
• Symptoms: The printer stops extruding filament mid-print, the extruder motor clicks, and the filament is chewed up by the drive gear.
• Cause: The small heatsink cooling fan fails to provide sufficient airflow or becomes clogged with dust. Heat creeps up the heatbreak, softening filament inside the PTFE tube, causing it to swell and jam.
• Solution: Clean the fan regularly.
