Industrial Design and Extrusion System

The Jiangsu WEEDO F370 is designed as an industrial-grade, large-format FDM 3D printer tailored for schools, professional design studios, and small-batch production. Unlike the F370X model, which uses an independent dual extruder (IDEX) system, the base F370 features a single high-performance printhead assembly. The direct-drive extruder provides reliable filament feeding across a range of materials. The standard brass nozzle features a 0.4 mm orifice diameter, and the hotend can reach operating temperatures of 260°C–280°C using an all-metal heatbreak.

Calibration

To maintain optimal print quality and mechanical reliability on the WEEDO F370, use the following calibration procedures:

• Chamber Preheating and Heated Bed Leveling (ABL):

Because the print bed is large (310x310 mm), the aluminum plate expands and warps slightly as it heats up.

• Expected result: A 25-point heightmap saved in the EEPROM that matches the heated shape of the bed.

Common defects

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• Large Bed Thermal Sag:
• Symptoms: The print bed bows in the center when heated above 80°C, causing first-layer adhesion issues.
• Cause: The large 310x310 mm aluminum plate expands faster than the steel carriage frame underneath, warping the bed shape.
• Solution: Always run the auto-leveling routine (ABL) once the bed has reached print temperature.
