Calibration

Maintaining proper alignment between the dual nozzles of the Duplicator 4S is a meticulous process that requires adherence to specific engineering calibration routines:

• Mechanical Nozzle Height Leveling (Dual Nozzle Alignment): Since both nozzles are fixed to a single carriage, if one nozzle sits even 0.05 mm lower than the other, it will scrape across the printed layers, ruining the print.

• MightyBoard Power Connector Burnout: The electrical connector for the heated bed on the MightyBoard is under-rated for the sustained 10A current draw. It regularly melts, posing a fire hazard. Solution: Install an external MOSFET board to drive the heated bed. Connect the bed's power lines directly to the PSU through the MOSFET, using the mainboard output only as a signal trigger.
