The Voron2 250 is an FDM 3D printer from Voron2 with a 250 x 250 x 250 mm build volume.
The Voron2 250 is a prosumer-grade FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printer featuring a build volume of 250 mm (X) x 250 mm (Y) x 250 mm (Z). Based on the open-source Voron 2.4 design, the 250 mm variant is the most compact model in the series, offering structural rigidity, thermal response, and print quality at high speeds.
CoreXY and Compact Flying Gantry Kinematics
The Voron2 250 features the "Flying Gantry" Z-axis motion design. In this setup, the heated bed is stationary, bolted to the bottom frame. The entire X/Y CoreXY gantry: which supports the print head carriage, linear rails, and X/Y motors: travels vertically up and down the Z-axis.
Follow this 8-step calibration guide to configure the Voron2 250.
Before installing the linear rails, verify that the frame is square. Use a machinist's square to check all extrusion joints. Measure the frame diagonals in the X-Y, X-Z, and Y-Z planes.
