The Trident 300 is an FDM 3D printer from Voron Design with a 300 x 300 x 300 mm build volume.
The Voron Design Trident 300 is a prosumer-grade FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printer featuring a build volume of 300 mm (X) x 300 mm (Y) x 300 mm (Z). Developed by the open-source community Voron Design, the Trident is a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) machine. Unlike off-the-shelf commercial printers, it must be built either from a pre-sourced kit or by self-sourcing components. The builder is responsible for structural assembly, wiring, and software configuration.
CoreXY Motion Gantry and Fixed Portal
The Voron Trident utilizes a CoreXY kinematics design for motion in the X/Y plane.
Follow this 8-step calibration guide to configure the Voron Trident 300 for high-performance printing.
Before applying power, verify that the frame is square and level. Use a machinist's square to check all extrusion joints. Measure the frame diagonals in the X-Y, X-Z, and Y-Z planes.
