The TPM3D P360 is an SLS 3D printer from TPM3D with a 360 x 360 x 600 mm build volume.

Laser

60W CO₂ laser with 3-axis dynamic focusing; maximum scan speed 15,000 mm/s: among the fastest in its class.

Build Volume

360×360×600 mm (77.8 litres). The 600 mm depth is exceptional for this price tier, enabling dense stacking of small parts or single very tall components.

Chamber & Temperature

Active enclosure with precision temperature management for the PA12/PA11/TPU/PP range (up to ~200°C). Recoater ensures uniform powder delivery across the full 360×360 mm field.

Layer & Accuracy

Layer thickness 60–200 µm. Accuracy ±0.1 mm or better for functional prototypes.

Calibration

Calibration Protocol: P360

1. Thermal Stabilisation

Heat to 170–185°C (PA12) and allow thermal equilibration: P360's large chamber needs 20–30 min. extra vs. standard 300 mm systems.

2. Laser Focus (9-point)

Verify 3-axis dynamic focusing with a calibration target. Energy density deviation below ±5%.

3. Z-axis at Operating Temperature

Print a 50×50×10 mm test block. For full 600 mm builds, re-level before each job.

4. Recoater Inspection.

Common defects

Typical Defects and Corrections: P360 (SLS)

Orange-peel surface

Low chamber temperature/power. Increase by 3–5°C, sieve powder.

Warping

Uneven cooling in deep chamber. Reduce cooling rate, pack parts densely.

Recoater streaks

Agglomerates or worn blade. Sieve through 150 µm mesh, replace blade.

Low density / brittleness

Insufficient laser energy density Ed. Increase power or reduce scan speed.
