SoonSer Mars Pro 850

The SoonSer Mars Pro 850 is an SLA 3D printer from SoonSer with a 850 x 850 x 500 mm build volume.

Specifications

Laser and Scanner: 355 nm Nd:YVO4 multi-laser with VarioSpot patented optics that dynamically switch beam diameter between fine-detail and high-throughput fill modes. Galvanometric scan speed 6–15 m/s.

Platform: Grade-00 marble Z-axis platform (same grade as precision metrology equipment) for vibration isolation and Z-axis repeatability.

Build Volume: 850 × 850 × 500 mm: among the widest XY footprints of any Chinese industrial SLA manufacturer.

Accuracy: ±0.15 mm for features < 100 mm; ±0.15%×L for longer spans.

Chamber/Environment: Closed active system with resin temperature control; modular distributed control architecture for stability during long builds.

Calibration

Laser power: Surface power check and VarioSpot mode verification every 200 hours; calibration grid 850×850 mm.

Platform levelling: Digital level at 5 points; deviation < 0.05 mm across the full diagonal.

XY scale correction: 100×100 mm test square; corrections applied only via galvo service interface.

Cure depth (Jacob's test): Required for every new resin batch: Dp and Ec vary between lots.

Power uniformity: Photodetector test at 9 points; acceptable variation < 5%.

Common defects

Suction-cup delamination: Wide flat areas > 200 mm: add drain holes and reduce lift speed.

Under-cure: Brittle layers → Jacob's test, laser power check, replace aged resin.

Large-part warping: Relieve stress with moderate post-cure at 40–50°C; optimise part orientation.

Vat contamination: Filter resin after every failed print; full IPA clean when switching resin type.
