The Renkforce Pro 6 is an FDM 3D printer from Renkforce with a 200 x 200 x 200 mm build volume.

The Renkforce Pro 6 (also marketed as the Pro 6+) is a fully enclosed, industrial-style desktop FDM 3D printer. It represents a significant step up from earlier generations under the Renkforce brand, targeted at advanced hobbyists, researchers, and professional engineers who need to print engineering-grade polymers prone to warping.

• Hotend: The printer utilizes a single high-temperature extruder with a maximum temperature capability of 260°C (up to 275°C with custom firmware configurations). The hotend assembly is highly optimized with an improved heat sink fan duct and a shortened PTFE liner in the throat.

Calibration

Proper maintenance and calibration of the Renkforce Pro 6 require specialized procedures due to the inductive sensor and linear guide rails:

• Linear Guide Rail Maintenance: Clean the X and Y axis steel rails using a clean cloth saturated with brake cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to remove old grease, dust, and microscopic debris.

Common defects

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• Electronics Compartment Overheating: The bottom compartment housing the motherboard and power supply suffers from poor ventilation.
• Symptoms: The printer randomly resets during long prints (especially with the bed at 100°C), or motors skip steps (layer shifting) because the TMC2209 drivers overheat and enter thermal shutdown.
• Cause: The stock cooling fan in the base is weak, and the air vents are small.

• ABS, ASA, and PETG Technical Parts: The passive heated enclosure and linear rails make this machine excellent for printing strong, dimensionally accurate mechanical parts.
• TPU and Flexible Filaments: The direct-drive extruder path feeds flexible filaments (down to 85A shore hardness) without buckling.
