Calibration

Achieving clean, reliable prints on the Mingda Magician Pro requires following this detailed calibration process:

• Z-Axis Lead Screw Synchronization:

Before your first print, ensure the X-gantry is level relative to the base. Loosen the tensioner on the top Z-sync belt. Measure the distance from the X-axis rail to the printer base on both the left and right sides using a digital caliper.

Common defects

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• Motherboard and Stepper Driver Overheating: Driving a large heated bed and large motors generates significant heat. If the cooling fan in the base of the printer fails, the TMC2208 drivers can overheat, causing them to shut down temporarily and leading to mid-print layer shifts.
• Solution: Inspect and clean the base cooling fan regularly. If noise increases, replace it with a high-airflow 24V fan.
