• Individual Extruder Step Calibration (E-steps): Since both filaments feed into the same nozzle, any feed discrepancy between the two extruder motors will alter the nozzle's internal pressure.

• Hardware defects and mechanical weaknesses
• PVA Clogging due to Overheating in the Y-channel: The most common failure mode on this printer is the carbonization of water-soluble PVA filament. When printing PLA from Extruder 1, the PVA in Extruder 2 sits idle inside the hot block. If held at printing temperatures, PVA degrades, loses its viscosity, and forms a hard clog inside the Y-combiner.
