Specifications

Light Engine (DLP)

Each Figure 4 module uses a per-pixel calibrated DLP light engine identical to the Figure 4 Standalone, guaranteeing Six Sigma repeatability (Cpk > 2) across the entire farm array.

Scalable Architecture

The system starts at one engine (~$49,900 for controller + module) and scales to 24 parallel modules, delivering up to 10,000 parts/month. A centralised controller manages job dispatch, monitoring, and automated resin delivery.

Build Volume

125 × 70 × 346 mm per engine. The small XY footprint is offset by the 346 mm Z stroke: ideal for elongated parts such as dental splints and hearing aid canals.

Speed.

Calibration

Per-Pixel Calibration

Each module undergoes automated per-pixel calibration matching the Figure 4 Standalone standard before integration into the array (~20 min per module).

Z-Repeatability Check

10×10×10 mm test cubes are printed on every engine; expected deviation < ±25 µm. Outliers indicate UV lamp degradation.

Farm Synchronisation

3D Connect verifies even job distribution; resin feed rate parameters are individually tuned per module.

Six Sigma Verification.

Common defects

Delamination / Sticky Surface

Cause: aged UV lamp or expired resin. Fix: measure lamp power via 3D Connect; replace resin.

Mid-Print Part Detachment

Cause: separation force exceeds platform adhesion. Fix: reduce Z peel speed; add supports; check platform levelling.

Dimensional Variation Between Engines

Cause: differing UV power or contaminated window. Fix: recalibrate engine in isolation; clean or replace window.

Resin Feed Blockage.

What it is used for

Medical Devices (Series Production)

Six Sigma repeatability plus biocompatible resins enable qualifiable production of hearing aids, dental splints, and orthopaedic inserts.

Centralised Dental Laboratories

Multiple engines print hundreds of arches simultaneously: optimal throughput for large centralised dental centres.
