Tronxy D01

The Tronxy D01 is an FDM 3D printer from Tronxy with a 220 x 220 x 220 mm build volume.

Calibration

• Start with a full mechanical square-and-tightness inspection before powering the machine for tuning.

Action: Check the frame for square, confirm all visible fasteners are snug, and verify that the CoreXY belts are seated correctly on their pulleys and idlers. Pay particular attention to the gantry rails, the bed mount, and any signs of shipping looseness around the enclosure panels.

Common defects

• Thermal safety risk: thermal runaway protection reported as disabled.

Symptoms: A review of the D01 observed behavior indicating that thermal runaway protection was not enabled, and the reviewer described a potentially catastrophic test outcome when the heater was intentionally disturbed. In practice, the machine may continue attempting to heat without properly faulting if a heater or sensor problem occurs.
