ELEGOO NEPTUNE 3 Plus

The ELEGOO NEPTUNE 3 Plus is an FDM 3D printer from ELEGOO with a 320 x 320 x 400 mm build volume.

Calibration

• Start with a mechanical baseline check before any slicing profile work.

Action: Power the printer off, remove the build plate, and inspect the entire motion system: confirm the dual Z leadscrews are clean and synchronized, the X gantry is level from left to right, the bed wheels/rollers are neither loose nor over-tightened, and the toolhead can move smoothly across the full 320 × 320 × 400 mm envelope without binding.

Common defects

• Large-bed tram sensitivity and edge-vs-center variation:

Symptoms: First layers may look perfect in the center but too tight or too loose near the corners; large flat prints may show one side with better adhesion than the opposite side.

Cause: A 320 × 320 mm bed is more sensitive to slight frame twist, gantry tilt, and mounting tolerances than a smaller printer.
