Light Engine

Monochrome 6.6-inch LCD, 4096×2560 pixels (4K+), 34 µm XY resolution. Monochrome screens pass significantly more UV light than colour panels, reducing exposure times to 2–4 s/layer and extending screen lifespan.

UV Light Array

405 nm UV LED matrix with Fresnel diffuser for uniform exposure across the full screen.

Platform

Dual linear Z-rail for vibration reduction and consistent layer separation. Manual levelling with bolt system.

Build Volume

165×89×143 mm (2.09 L). Compact desktop footprint, weight ~4–5 kg.

Calibration

Calibration: Photon Mono 2

1. Levelling

Paper test under the build plate: target ≤0.05 mm parallelism. Tighten bolts in a cross pattern; re-home Z after tightening.

2. Exposure Calibration Matrix

Print AMD or Cones of Calibration at 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5 s for your resin. Select the exposure with clear pin tests (0.4 mm).

3. FEP Inspection (every 10–15 prints)

Clear FEP without haze or cracks: replace at first signs of fogging.

Common defects

Common Defects, Photon Mono 2

FEP Sticking

Print doesn't follow the build plate, worn FEP or weak base adhesion. Fix: new FEP, higher Bottom Exposure, 15–30° part tilt.

Undercure

Brittle parts: too short exposure or cold resin. Increase Exposure Time; warm resin to 20–25°C.

Elephant Foot

Base thickening: too long Bottom Exposure. Reduce Bottom Layers and Bottom Exposure.

Horizontal Layer Separation

Loose Z-leadscrew nut or local FEP deformation.
