Active enclosure with precision temperature management for PA11/PA12/PA6X/TPU/PP and reinforced materials. Operating temperature up to ~200°C.

Calibration

Calibration Protocol: P550DL

1. Dual 140W Laser Synchronisation

Calibration test in the boundary zone: zero artefacts mandatory at 140W power.

2. Thermal Stabilisation (2.5 h)

Heat to operating temperature with minimum 2.5 h from cold start due to 850 mm chamber.

3. 16-point Focus Verification

4×4 grid to control uniformity of both lasers across the full 550×550 mm field.

Laser boundary line

Unsynchronised 140W lasers. Recalibrate, avoid critical surfaces at centre boundary.

Deep-zone warping

Thermal differences between bottom and top zones of 850 mm chamber. Cool slowly, pack densely.

Orange-peel surface

Thermal variations in large chamber. Increase by 3–5°C, sieve powder.

Recoater streaks

Wear after thousands of cycles in a deep build. Check every 50 operating hours.
