Sand-BJ (Sand Casting Binder Jetting)

Sand-BJ is a BJT variant for foundry sand molds and cores. Inkjet array deposits furan or phenolic binder onto a silica sand powder bed. Ready mold is extracted, ready for molten metal pour.

Sand-BJ eliminates pattern making in casting workflow: saving weeks → days. Especially valuable for: cylinder heads, large valve bodies, art casting, prototype castings.
