MSLA / LCD (Masked Stereolithography)

DLP, but with an LCD mask instead of a projector. €200 machine, 4K–12K resolution, the consumer resin revolution.

MSLA (Masked SLA) / LCD printing: VAT photopolymerization where a monochrome LCD acts as a dynamic mask over a uniform UV LED light (405 nm). LCD pixels block or pass UV; resin is selectively cured layer by layer.

MSLA is the cheapest high-quality 3D printing ever: €200 with 4K resolution delivers Form 2 quality. 18–50 µm pixel, batch printing like DLP. The standard for tabletop miniature hobby.
