Retraction Distance

Retraction Distance is the length of filament that is pulled back into the nozzle when the printer moves between different areas of the print without extruding. This setting helps to prevent oozing and stringing by relieving pressure in the nozzle.

Recommended values: A typical retraction distance is between 2 to 7 mm, depending on the type of filament and the printer. It's recommended to start with the manufacturer's suggested settings and adjust based on the specific needs of the print.
