Layer Height

Layer height refers to the thickness of each individual layer of material that is deposited by the 3D printer. It is a critical parameter that affects the resolution, surface finish, and mechanical properties of the printed object. A smaller layer height results in higher resolution and smoother surfaces, while a larger layer height can speed up the printing process but may reduce detail.

Recommended values: For most standard 3D printing applications, a layer height between 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm is recommended. Smaller layer heights are suitable for high-detail prints, while larger layer heights can be used for faster, less detailed prints.
