Build Plate Adhesion Type

Build Plate Adhesion Type refers to the method used to ensure that the first layer of a 3D print adheres properly to the build plate. Common types include skirts, brims, and rafts. A skirt is a line printed around the object but not connected to it, used to prime the extruder. A brim is a series of lines attached to the base of the object, increasing the surface area for better adhesion. A raft is a grid-like structure under the object, providing a stable base.

Recommended values: Choose the adhesion type based on the model's geometry and material. For small or delicate prints, a brim or raft may be beneficial. Ensure the build plate is clean and level for optimal adhesion.
