Integrating 3D printing into production

3D printing doesn't replace everything. It adds value in specific places: tooling, spare parts, complex geometries, small batches. I help you put it exactly there, without breaking a working process.

When you need this

  • You run production and don't know where 3D printing helps
  • You wait long or pay a lot for tooling or parts
  • You want small batches or complex parts without molds

What you get

  • A map of where 3D printing wins
  • Technology, material and machine for each case
  • A rollout plan that doesn't stop the line

How it works

  1. What you make and where it hurts
  2. Analysis of where additive delivers
  3. Plan: priorities and rollout

Typical cases

  • In-house tooling instead of outside orders: A shop waited on a fixture from an outside supplier and the line stood still. We moved the part in-house to print, and the wait disappeared.
  • A spare part for a stopped machine: The original part is no longer made, and every hour of downtime is costly. Reverse engineering plus printing got the machine running again without waiting on an outside order.
  • A geometry too complex to mill: A part with internal channels couldn't be machined conventionally. Additive made possible a geometry that otherwise needed a bolted assembly of separate pieces.

The rules that solve most of the problems

  • Print where it wins, not everywhere: Not every part should go additive: a map of use cases guards against bad investments.
  • Process first, machine second: You buy a printer only once you know exactly what it will produce on your floor.
  • Small batches favor additive: The smaller the run and the more complex the geometry, the stronger the case for 3D printing.
  • Rollout shouldn't stop the line: Prove it on one pilot part, then scale: never the other way around.

Who it's for

Manufacturers who want a concrete effect, not an experiment.

    FAQ
Will I replace my machines? No. We add where it makes sense.
Only for large series?Often the opposite: small batches and complex parts win most.
Do I need my own printer? Not always: sometimes outsourcing just the specific parts makes more sense at the start.
How do I know if additive fits my case?We look at a real part from your production, not a hypothetical example.
