EU grants for small businesses: 8 Bulgarian procedures, first orientation

Pick company size, region and project type and compare your profile with 8 procedures, by the app's data checked between 16 and 26 July 2026; seven are drafts. This is a first orientation on EU grants for small businesses, not an eligibility check: verify in the official source before you apply. The screen is partly in English.

Part of Pro, 15 EUR a month.

What you compare when you look for EU grants for small businesses

When you look for EU grants for small businesses, each procedure has its own conditions: company size, region, deadline, project type. The Program Navigator on EduFacturing, part of Pro, compares your profile with the conditions of 8 Bulgarian procedures from four programs.

You fill in size, region and project type, and under “More criteria” NACE code, age, budget, de minimis and co-financing. Each procedure gets Eligible or Not eligible, a percentage and reasons.

The data is the app's, checked between 16 and 26 July 2026: only one procedure is checked against the official source. The result is indicative and does not replace the call.

What the Program Navigator does

Checks the hard conditions

Company size, region (only where a procedure restricts it), remaining de minimis against the minimum grant, and the deadline. Failing one makes it Not eligible.

Works out a match percentage

Project type carries 45 points, budget 30, co-financing 25. The percentage is points over the weights of the criteria that apply; a blank criterion earns 0.

Says what to improve

“What would improve your chances” under each card says, for example, to specify size, region or remaining de minimis.

Leads to the source

Each card links to the official source (for 2 of 8 a general page, not the call itself) and to “How to apply”: a checklist, steps and, for procedures with a deadline, milestones 45 and 14 days before it and on the day.

When you need a first orientation

For an owner or manager who wants to see which EU procedures are worth reading.

  • Before reading conditions

Set size and region and skip procedures that are not for you. Project type only changes the percentage, unless used as a filter.

  • After Company Dossier

Size and NACE code reach the Navigator through a link (the code shows only if it is one of the 88 two-digit codes).

  • Preparing documents

You tick off ready documents; the ticks stay in your browser.

  • Comparing by deadline and amount

Sort by match, deadline or amount; filter by program, status and project type.

How the profile is compared and the match percentage is set

The comparison is a rule, not artificial intelligence: the profile is matched with the conditions stored for each procedure.

  1. Hard conditions

Size, region, remaining de minimis against the minimum grant, and the deadline. Region limits only 1 of 8 procedures. A past deadline or a closed procedure means Not eligible.

  2. Soft criteria

Project type (45 points), target budget (30), co-financing (25). A criterion without data for the procedure is skipped; a blank one earns 0.

  3. Result

No failed hard condition means Eligible; Not eligible gets 0%. With an empty profile the card says “fill profile to score” and Eligible only means the deadline has not passed.

The numbers in the comparison
Applies toFormulaMeaning
Matchpoints ÷ weights of the criteria that apply · 100; if none applies, 100%weights: project type 45, budget 30, co-financing 25
De minimisremaining ≥ the minimum grant of the procedureotherwise the procedure is Not eligible
Own contribution100 − the procedure intensity, in %full points at that or more, half up to 10 points below

Every number comes with a reason

  • A reason for every number

“Why this number” shows the points of each criterion.

  • It tells checked from draft

Only the checked procedure carries “Verified against the official source”: 1 of 8.

  • It sends your profile nowhere

By the code there are no server requests.

What the Program Navigator does not do

Only part of the screen is in English: about a quarter of the text is Bulgarian: program names, procedure names such as “Въвеждане на зелени технологии в МСП” (Introducing green technologies in SMEs) and required documents.

The catalog is 8 procedures by the app's data checked between 16 and 26 July 2026, seven of them drafts. Status “open” or “upcoming” is entered by hand: only the deadline is compared with today, so a procedure already open but stored as “upcoming” reads “Active application deadline”. Verify in the official source before you apply.

Digitalization matches no procedure. NACE code and age change no result, though cards say “Specify a NACE code”. For the small-grants procedure for SMEs (phase 2) remaining de minimis stays unspecified: no minimum grant.

Size is chosen, not worked out; no amounts are shown and no application is filed. By the app's data 4 of 8 procedures have a form in ISUN 2020, three are filed elsewhere (the Patent Office, the State Fund Agriculture system, the labour office), for one the data is silent; the call has the right way.

Questions about EU grants for small businesses

What is a NACE code?

The code of a company's main activity; KID-2008 is the Bulgarian version of EU NACE Rev.2. The tool searches 88 two-digit codes, but with this catalog the code changes no result.

What is de minimis aid?

As the app describes it, by its data checked in July 2026: a ceiling on state aid without notification, up to EUR 300,000 over 3 years under EU rules. Aid already received reduces the remainder you enter. Check it in the regulation itself.

How to apply for EU funding?

Each card has “How to apply”: a checklist, steps and milestones. Only 1 of 8 procedures has its own guide; the general steps (an ISUN 2020 profile, an electronic signature, the form) do not fit procedures filed elsewhere.

How to check EU funding eligibility?

This tool gives only a first orientation: choose size, region and project type and read the mark, percentage and reasons for each of the 8 procedures. The official call decides eligibility.

Is the Program Navigator available in English?

Partly. The app opens in Bulgarian: press EN at the top right to switch form, filters, reasons and buttons. Program names, procedure names and required documents stay in Bulgarian: about a quarter of the letters were Cyrillic on 10 October 2026.

How much does the Program Navigator cost?

Part of Pro at 15 EUR a month, which also opens the other Pro tools.
